Christian is welcomed to a home along his journey where he meets Prudence, Piety, and Charity.

The three women inquire about Christian’s experience during his travels, and they introduce him to various rooms in the home which feature important lessons.

Discussion Questions:

What is the significance of the chained lions along the path?

Can you think of promises in the Bible that are similar to this part of the story?

Bunyan used this chapter for review. Why do you think he chose to do that at this point in the book?

What are some of the important spiritual lessons in your life? Can you name the top 3-4?

Do you remember the artifacts that Christian saw in the armory? Why might those encourage him?

Before he left the home, Christian received some armor for a future battle. How has God provided spiritual armor for us today?
